    vintage old barn

    Hey guys,
I bought 1.7 acres of land near Austin TX, it has an old tin barn on it. I would like to tear the barn down, but do not have the time and man power to take it down.
Is there a taker for it, who would take the tin in exchange for taking down the barn? I would estimate its about 20 x 30 x 12, its out in the country.
    I would appreciate any advise,
    thanks
    Lisa

First make sure it is tin and not aluminum. As tin it is not worth much, is a tedious process, and time consuming. Around here such a barn like would be buried.

If it is aluminum a magnet will not stick to it and might have some hits. Either way I would advertise on your local craigslist in the construction and free sections. Good luck.
Give back more to this world than we take.

why dont u guys quickly explain to her how much money u can make out of it, if ts tin?

so she will be able to see for herself that its just not worth it for anyone to spend time & fuel to come there and break it down & then expect them to accept as payment ONLY whatever they will get paid for the metal at the scrapyard.

There's no point. She is a drive by who has no idea and is just fishing to see if she can get a job she wants done for free.

Well you got to put the hook in the water if you want to catch a fish! This is no different than people who want you to remove a mobile home, I don't think she came here to scam anyone she just thought there would be some fish here!

While I agree with some of the responses, I think Patriot76 has the best advice. Check your local craigslist. This is not craigslist.
