Worked in construction and minor demolition for 2o+ years so i was no stranger to the scrap yard and have always collected copper cable and pipe for a rainy day .that rainy day came at Christmas last year (even though it was 40°c lol) and stumbled across this forum looking for wire strippers and started reading threads and been hooked on scrapping since and the knowledge I've gained from here is near priceless.
