    Hello from NW Montana

    Been seeing more electronics on auction sites and thought I should learn a bit about how they get scrapped. Did cardboard many years ago and now retired and looking for a way to pick up some play money while "saving the planet"... [-;

    Always pains me to take my household trash to the green box site and see all the stuff there that looks as if it should be of value to SOMEONE-and it irritates me no end to see an apparently intact, possibly repairable appliance there that someone has chopped off the power cord so I can't easily test to see if it powers up by simply plugging it into my CCC [cheap Chinese crap] inverter.

    Thinking it would be nice if I could combine scrapping with fishing-take an armload of electronic stuff to disassemble while waiting for a bite.
