intro from Tech guy

I am a server administrator / SAP consultant by day, but I also run a side business where I obtain computers and servers and part them out. I have amassed quite a collection of scrap computer / server components of all types in the last two years of running my side business.



I am currently looking for a reliable lucrative buyer to offload these on to and found myself directed to this forum from a couple different sources.

I have had some luck on eBay, but for some of the items it seems to be too niche. I'd also rather not wait and have a source where when I am ready to ship they are ready to recieve and pay.

I also dabble in parting out cars and would like to expand that side of my operations at some point.

Currently this is a side business / hobby for me, but I would like to exit the corporate world and do this full time. I have modeled my business to be setup to do Technical consulting, server room design and construction, computer and server parts and maintenance contracts, decommissioning services, and now I am moving into scrapping ethically. Eventually I'd like to dabble in some Aqua Regia and have some precious metals on hand, but for now I am just looking to sell what I have myself and get some cash flow into my business.

I imagine I'll be doing some heavy reading and research here and contacting some of the buyers in the buyers and sellers area of the forum.

I am a bit of a forum rat as well - Love the ones I am a member of for certain car enthusiast groups and hobbies. Look forward to contributing here as well!
