There once was a scrapper for NC

    Hey everyone.

I found myself needing some extra cash and started doing garbage clean up from storage buildings, attic, barn etc. I would take the sell-able thing to flea markets (swap-meets if you are on the west coats) and dump the rest. Someone keyed me into scrapping and here I am. Just getting going in my spare time. I know I am not got to quit my regular job but it will give me some walking around money I hope. Not sure how involved I will get. whether I will collect it and bring it to the place myself or just sell it to a another scrapper for quick cash. Still pricing local yards around me to figure that out. In the mean time I keep picking up anything metal and bring it home and tear it apart.

Welcome, and if you have the room then pick up every last bit of metal you find. Read posts on this forum in your spare time and you'll soon realize that there's a lot of money to be made. Just keep your scrap organized and make a trip to the yard every once in a while, you'll be losing money if you sell it to another scrapper. Good luck!

Hey! I'm from NC as well and I actually have quite a few business accounts in High Point, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, so I go up there frequently. Stay safe, have fun, best of luck. - Rob
