    hello from new mexico

Hello, I'm a part time scrapper from southeast New Mexico. I've been scrapping for a few years to supplement my income. My main vices are compressors and motors, and I break them ALL the way down due to the fact that all yards within a few hundred miles only pay short iron for either. Both of my local yards have pretty low prices because they don't sell to refineries, they function as second middlemen to the closest serious yard. I've been sorting and hoarding E-scrap for awhile and I'm about ready to start selling it, so I decided to get plugged in here in the hopes of making friends who can help educate me. I have read and re-read the posts on sorting E-scrap (yea I've been lurking about a year), and it looks like I've got to find a buyer before I can sort any farther than I have. Anyways, holidays are coming up and the industry here just took a dump so I'm excited to get a new angle on making money off of scrap. Got all kinds of children to spoil. Well, if you hung in there for all that, thank you and see you around the forum.

    -Matt
