Welcome to the forum. I am wondering why you want to export(I know most yards do) and what type of scrap do you currently deal with? Mike

I might be wrong but I think your on the wrong forum, The info your seeking is not really here.
I don't know of too many of us that export in large quantity. Most of us deal with local yards or core buyers.

ah, ok. im learning still. i do know this end of the biz. one good way to get scrap is thru general service commission [GSA]. gov has to offer anything it sells to public. they have every kind of scrap, cars, everything. think you can bid online now. always bid 1.01, you will beat out 1.00 bid as example. another good place is police depts, they auction off impounded cars, ones in the boonies often have no one show up at auction. wrecker services can be good place to pick up cars.
