    Cool Fiend for platinum

    Hey everyone! I'm here to share and learn about making money in the scrap world. I am a gold buyer who wants to learn all he can about obtaining industrial platinum scrap (thermocouple wire, crucibles, catheter tips, etc.).



    ANYONE who can tell me how/where to obtain platinum in Chicago will become my new best friend! If anyone cares to learn about gold buying, hit me up!

    Don't know anything about Chicago and very little about platinum, but welcome. You can search the old threads on here and find lots of good info on e-scrap.

    Welcome from south of Chicago. What about Hard drive platters? they have a thin platinum coating on them.
