    Noob here....

What's going on scrappers? Im new to this business. Basically im a roofer by trade and I get layed off usually in the winter months. Well guess what, Im layed off. So this gives me a lot of time to spend with the family and so on. I figured why not do a side gig or hobby. I started by stripping all the wires that I have not used and taking a couple monitors apart. So far im having fun, I get to go in my basement at whatever time I feel and mess around. I have not venture out yet to pick anything up. I really can't get into the big stuff yet. I have no where to store it. But Im extremely interested in computer electronics and things of that nature. Hopefully this a good intro and happy scrapping.

i just started about 6 weeks ago. haven't really figured it all out yet but one thing i find funny... i hate to sell my scrap metal for paper money. i'm seriously missing that 10lb piece of brass i sold last month. i may have to start a picture album for the unusual pieces i find. especially if i'm going to trade it for a piece of paper. welcome sonel
