    New in Salt Lake City

Hello all, I'm new to the scrapping business and to this forum. I work at a call center and my company has been giving me their outdated equipment. CRTs, computers, LCDs, and other telecom equipment. I have a new little family and have been trying to find sidework to make ends meet so recycling has been helping a lot.

I find the responsibility of providing for a family very fulfilling and motivating. Our son is 8 months old and has bright red hair like his mother. He's a big happy kid and just started to army-crawl two days ago.

I enjoy electronics and taking things apart but I'm very new to the scrapping world. I've learned a lot from this forum as a visitor and plan on learning and contributing more as a member. The positive vibe here and the free sharing of info has impressed me. Thanks all for sharing your knowledge. It's made a difference for sure.

Welcome to the forum. I do scrap metal and e-waste down in the Provo area. Nice to see some other scrappers from Utah.

Thanks. Have you found a good e-waste yard in Utah or do you usually ship?

Side... I am new to E-s=waste. I ship my higher end e-waste. I just send 42 lbs yesterday to EWasted. I will let you know how it turns out. I am still looking for local buyersfor the less valuable stuff. (cd drives, PC power supplies, plastic, CRT tubes , etc) If anyone knows anywhere in or around Utah that buys that stuff please let us know.
