Like the Title says
I scrap cars and lite trucks in the Southeast Ma area
One man operation, so most times I can pay more then the others
I have my own tire machine, so I pull aluminum wheels and sell separate
I pull as much copper wire out as I can in 10 mins
Of course I also pull the radiator and sell them when I bring the rims in
I check with RAS Cores in RI for anything they are paying for
And the rest goes to ZIONS in Middleboro Ma 508-946-2383

I also make a run about once a month with the rims, Alternators, wire and Radiators

Sometimes I get lucky and get a decent one that can be sold for parts on either eBay or Craigs

Sometimes I will pull parts to sell on eBay
Nothing big >> Easy to pull >> Easy to store >> Easy to ship
Head light assemblies
Tail Light assemblies
Window motors
Side view mirrors
To name a few



I have a Cat guy that always pays top dollar >> Bill at Coreagains
He comes by when I need him
Since he is paying top dollar
He also collects most of the big yards in the area

no title, no problem ? sounds more like "honest" louies midnight auto supply!

As long as it is 10 years old
and they have some kind of paper work that shows they owned it
I am OK with it.
Not wanting to go to jail >> and having spent time in the Navy
I do understand CYA and get all the information about the vehicle and person selling it to me

I also have been doing this for more then a couple years and walk away if the situation does not look right

Sorry, John, That really put me in mind of a guy who was just picking up "abandoned" vehicles, if they were setting too close to the road ; )

There is a scrap yard down your way ( Bridgewater , W. Bridgewater , Middleboro ? , it wasn't Zion ) that just picked up a Ford Explorer with a blown tranny from my buddy's garage while I was getting tires mounted that loaded it up and paid him $ 650 cash for it .
I see there only paying $ 165 a ton in Bridgewater today , up this way it's around $ 200 +/-
But the prices have been dropping from Fri. to Mon. , just like the rest of the country .
