I think that might work if the theory that using "scrapper" in a funny way makes it ok.

My company name is Lady Scrappers, just like my name on here - have never had a negative reaction, at least so far.

Have pondered a name change though. Not sure what I would go with.

I think that the feeling that your cards puts across is enough to make the negative go away. I especially like the little quote at the bottom left - leaves you with a feeling like you're helping the environment; all warm & fuzzy.

My full time job is at a municipal Transfer Station/Recycling Center. People always get a kick when I say I am a "Garbologist".

I know what you mean by the word "scrapper" though. It takes just a few to ruin the name. We had a person yesterday from a different town (not a tax payer) that thought he could just take lead acid batteries, cut cables off TVs, and such. That is money for the town and to reduce the cost of running the place. To make things worse, this guy had a overloaded mouth full of tobacco and grubby looking. That is what people think when you say "scrapper".

Soon it will be "Politically Incorrect" to say "Scrapper" out loud at which point the Scrapper will become a hero in some peoples eyes.
