What are the landfill fees in your area

There has been several post on here asking what the scrap yards are paying in your area, but I have never seen a thread about landfill fees.

It seems that most of us not only scrap but haul junk too. I figured I start this thread.

    Landfill Fees-SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

$10 for a truck bed full
$10 for a single axle trailer full
$30 for a double axle trailler full
$26 per ton for commercial vehicles
$5 for any load of green waste

Last year Dayton, Ohio was $26 a ton I think for general waste plus 10 free tires per year per resident. Everyone pays by weight rather than truckload. Not sure about the rest of Ohio but I'd assume its similar.

Like I said in the other thread, $65/2000lbs for me.

They TAKE IT ALL...commercial and residential. Others will just take one, but not both. They just love the money, so they dont care lol

Remember the old days when landfills were called "dumps" and you could go there and dump your junk for free all day long? Heck, you could even hang out there and take as many items as you wanted. Haven't seen one like that in a long time.

Like everything else, government interference and meddling put a stop to it.

Yep keep voting in the big government folks to office and thats what you get. Local elections are far more important than any national one. If your going to vote vote local first.

I found out that in Green Bay theres a dump (news to me, lived here my whole life, always piled crap on the curb), and my buddy told me it was about $20 a truckload for him. I live in a suburb of GB, where we can't throw out bulk, but theres a bulk drop off site by the city garage...theres two areas for garbage, one for metal, and a small section for tagged freon items ($20 a tag). The metal is usually empty, once in awhile I get to something before the regulars do, but I always dump my plastic/wood/other junk there, it's watched by cameras and i've never had the cops or anyone come knocking on my door saying I was dumping stuff I wasn't supposed too...plus I find goodies all the time...garbage cans, rubbermaid containers, electronics, tools, furniture for craigslist, etc. I found out from one of the "regulars" he goes through about once an hour until 6-7pm...
