Anything you might drop $500 on in the stock market, and quickly change its value more than 20% is about the same odds as you'd get at a roulette wheel.... and casinos at least serve you liquor while they rob you.
My $500.00 deposit isn't gong to change my life one way or another, I'm willing to lay odds that I'll double that in four short months.

There are ways to protect yourself in the market, au... Life is about learning and diversifying. The stock market doesn't necessarily have to be an all or nothing preposition, it is just one method of trying to secure wealth.

Just out of curiosity, where do you put your savings? I will tell you straight out I have no idea, in the socio political situation we find ourselves in at this time, where the eff to put anything I have saved to protect it from the thieves that make their thieving legal. Banks? They have stolen the money straight from the banks. Mattress? Your money is losing purchasing power (the theft of inflation) by the minute by the creation of trillions of $$$'s, Stocks? The little guys leveraged the hedge funds short positions against them and the big boys changed the rules on the fly. Silver and gold? The government thieves have outlawed PM's before and stolen it right out from under the people before. Guns? Don't believe they will outlaw guns.... Yeah, no way. Land? Agenda 2030 says no more private ownership of any property. Almost like that now with property taxation. More like a lease at this time.

So, with all the suspicion and distrust of the stock market, where do you shelter your savings?

With those qualifications the question is why are you slumming in a scrap metal forum that basically caters to curb shoppers. Are you here to ferret out tax cheats.

Nowhere to Hide: IRS to Hire Bounty Hunters

It is not known whether the fees paid to tax-collecting bounty hunters will meet or exceed the amounts owed to the government by the hapless tax-scofflaws.

1.... I double or better my money all the time. In just the past three days I turned 50 cents into $20. I turned $15 into $40 in hours. With AMC I better than doubled my money in three days. So if you can't double your money quickly, you might want to think about considering different strategies.

2... I am interested where you put your money where you consider it safer than the stock market.

That took a (I think) $20 filing fee and BAM, I'm a real business. I opened a checking account in that name, and now I have a "uniform".

This seems a lot more legitimate to John Q Public than some random guy in a Metallica t-shirt asking if he can have some old computers.
How well did John Q Public react to your newly registered Bar K Recycling company, you still doing business under that name or have you declared bankruptcy.

The one thing I've always admired about Americans is there willingness to grasp onto the dream and give free enterprise a shot. The majority of folks in my country are way too conservative choosing to leave their money in the financial institutions.

Which wasn't a bad idea years ago, especially when the banks were paying between 10 and 12 percent interest, my father even after retirement paid his income tax broken into quarterly payments.

On a side note back to forum business, with local oil production being severely reduced save your scrap plastics buy or make some sort of granulation machine to reduce storage requirements.

I most certainly did send you a PM and for the record there was nothing in that message that could be interpreted as obnoxious as you are implying.
