    Keys brass or dirty brass

I scored a bunch of keys. Can I get clean brass price on these ? Some look like chrome plated brass. I have around 100 of them

Clean brass in my parts (as long as you take any middle steel rings off them if they are a pair)
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

I once came into a bucket of keys that an old man had stashed for some time. Keys of all kinds and FOB's. I sold a Corvette Key FOB for $70.. It was glorious!

Clean brass. Check with magnet. I agree with the poster about eBay. There are people who collect keys - always more money with collectors.
My mother always said "Ask your father." My father always said "If it doesn't work, hit it with a hammer. If that doesn't work, hit it again."

Some crafty types will buy the older, iron pieces for decoration. Probably well in excess of scrap value.

Mine go as clean brass but I do sort the Ali ones. That's easy, though. Brass is much, much heavier.
