    here in SA, steel has hit an all time high of R3,30 per kg
    u guys can do the conversion to $ & lbs.

    i suspect its a result of this tariffs thing.

    Every $1 China spends on American "products", Americans spend $4 on Chinese "products" .
    It's kind of sad that folks don't give a rat's tail about locally made stuff any more, they just want he cheapest made #### in the world. It's even worse that many left wing radicals want to completely eliminate any tariffs / taxes on imported goods, making it even cheaper to make #### in other countries.


    On a side note: it's cheaper to ship something from China to my door here in PA, than it is to ship the exact same item from my house to my next door neighbor.
