    junksteel.com & railscrap.com

    Hi All,
I would like to sell my two great scrap domain names junksteel.com & railscrap.com to someone here. These domains have basic starter website.

    junksteel.com
    Registrar - Godaddy
    Expiration - 03/06/18
    railscrap.com
    Registrar - Godaddy
    Expiration - 03/06/18

I have owned these continuously for a number of years but have not utilized fully as I had planned.

    Reason for selling:
I have other sites I need to focus on. I can do the transaction via Godaddy or escrow. These will sell for much less than their value so don't hesitate.

I would offer a lifetime supply of belly button lint (check eBay completed listings for potential value) and a jar of my specialty Alaskan penguin sauce, if your not interested in the other offers.

Yes, I am new to this forum, but rest assured this is a legit offer. The transaction can be done with Godaddy or Escrow to make sure both ends are met. Feel free to check the history of these two you will find out I have owned them for many years. I am waiting for your offers ladies and gentlemen.

I don't mean to attack anyone's value proposition but how can rail scrap, as concept or website, even be a thing? It's federal property and unless you are hoping to court government-contracted asset specialists and/or government-contracted metals processors, I don't see how it can be worth even giving it away for nothing.

(EDIT: I just clicked the link and saw that it's more about shipping containers. Not exactly a clear connection with the URL but certainly a more viable commodity.)

I think the point of our commentary is build reputation on forum then purchase membership and people will take your offers much more serious

Yes I agree. Railscrap may not be interesting for anyone in USA but can be valuable international markets where this is allowed (see Alibaba).

So, just to be clear, is this sauce you put on penguin to make it more tasty, or is it sauce made from penguins or is it sauce that is made by penguins?

I also checked and the domain www.junk****.com ($hit) is available.

Unless it is a really sweet name, it has no value. www.junk$hit.com is a way better name than either one of yours, and that is $11... Just one mans opinion.

Not sure if you are understanding how a forum like this works..........I read threads for months on end before even joining.........I then did an introduction and contributed when I could.........Thanks to this forum and my hard work applying what I learned here I was able to afford a membership.........I am now a buyer of scrap as well as other material and a long time member........Before you come on offering something for sale you may want to try an approach similar to mine.........The scrap game is sometimes a "LONG" game and not about the short term quick buck.........I wish you well selling your domains and someone may just see it here and make you an offer..........In my opinion however I think there are plenty of names still out there unclaimed and like someone else said available from GoDaddy or another provider for a minimal amount of money........GOOD LUCK

The "crowd" here are realists. They have dirty hands and bloody knuckles. They have thirty year old trucks and are friends with the sweaty guys that load their pile of crap onto a scale. They would give you the shirt off their back for free and know that plenty that run with them would do the same for them. Have you ever sold a load of scrap? Scrap steel is a hard nut, if you are a steel scrapper, you are earning every cent of what you bring in. Do you have any idea what a load of non ferrous would consist of? What work has to be done to turn in a load of 100# of #1 bright CU? So, you have a couple of domains. What are you looking to get for them? Have you ever sold a domain? What did you get for it? I don't mean to be a d i c k, but it looks to me like you are bluffing an eight high hand.

Sorry, I kinda popped a rod.
