    Interesting Find

    I was doing a little research about scrap metal associations, and stumbled upon essentially the IRS guide to auditing those in the scrap industry.

    you can find it here.

    It makes a lot of sense why the yards started requiring checks, and ID's a few years back. At least the big corporate ran yards. It's all about CYA with the feds. Has little to nothing to do with do with the tweakers. There is a problem, but that isn't why they started the ID garbage.

    Excellent find.

    Too many people collecting that guberment money while cashing in thousands of dollars worth of metal.
    Only takes a rotten few to spoil it for everyone else.
