Check out 'badcaps.com' to see how to fix flat screens. Most of the time its bad capacitors, bad connections etc etc.
You can search model numbers to find out what goes wrong with that model, and fix it.
Of the two I checked, 1 was a bad cap, the other was the mylar connection to the screen, not enough pressure to hold it in place. As the screen warms up, it expands, at a different rate than the mylar connection.
So I had a ghost image towards the bottom left of the screen. Free fix!!!!
Plasma screen have a full sheet of Ali behind the screen, you only have to undoo 455 screws to get to it..........
But, grab the boards, friend had to pay $400 for one to fix his flatscreen.
What I would like to know is, what's the thin flat chip mounted across the mylar connector, what does it do?
It does seem to have Gold connection wires on it, making it valuable.
