Hot secretary ( OK maybe not for 5K)
    Mail outs?
    Tools??

    Let's hear your ideas!

Buy a decent used truck, some tools, and invest the rest into buying metal.
There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer

A trailer first and foremost. Then with what is left over, I would use that to hire a hot woman to be a secretary. LoL Ok, maybe not. Guess it would go into ads or tools.

    Hmmm...

A hot girl might be able to score more scrap. I'm sure we've seen it happen. People want to help out an attractive person more so than an average woman (or a guy).

As for me, I'd get a trailer. I have a "crane" I removed from a truck and want to turn it into something like the picture shown. I want to make it longer and a bit wider. It has a 4k hoist on it with a chain drive trolley to position the load anywhere along the I-beam travel.

You can get unrestricted acres for really cheap the further you go into the country. But we have to drive ALOT further to and from anywhere, unlike some of yall in those itty bitty bite size states

Hot secretary? Interesting you should say that. The three nearest yards all have serious eye-candy working their counters.

    $1500 trailer
Use the rest of what's left for scrap metal and gas.

Oh, and maybe a videocamera so I can be like that Jack the Scrapper Guy! :-)
