    Purchasing Savage Yards

I'm new here... Thought this would be a good place to start

I'm looking to purchase a couple large and operating salvage yards across the U.S.

I figure that this would be as good of place as any to start networking. Any tips, tricks, or red herring advice would be appreciated.

I have looked at LoopNet and Junk Yard Dog online and there are a few I find interesting. Is there any place else I should look?

I have checked the message boards but haven't found a lot of info about trading salvage yards.

I look forward to discussing the business with you.

Where are you located? Try calling the salvage yards directly, that way you can choose the area you are interested in. I'm sure money talks these days...

We are located in Sand Diego. We have been trying to identify the areas we are interested in. Right now we are looking for large yards 5+ acres with a large inventory of cars and parts. If any one knows of one close to them for sale or not I would appreciate the heads up..

Hello there there is a yard in south Florida, I believe that because you are not a member I can not send you a private message, this is not something to be discussed on a open format.

The OP has 2. He needs somewhere between 7 an 20. :P

Don't recall anyone saying anything about a limit other then me, saying he needs to have more.
