Absoloutly, a persons acttions mold his/her karma.

The biggest problem is with ebay's minimum wage employees whom in fact may be overseeing the dispute from a third world country having a slanted outlook on values.

If you think that your getting a dig in here by stating my tiered plates are imposters your barking up the wrong tree. As for returning broken sockets ( Challenger and Proto ) that was 40 plus years ago, I've long ago paid for that bad karma.

Also if you read all my posts thoroughly you will note that I have never denied my criminal past, there was a time in my youth I had been in and out of goal so many times I thought that I was doing life on the instalment plan .

There are plenty of renters out there who derive great pleasure from screwing the landlord, the looses I will encumber for these recent ebay claims will not put me into the poor house. if your plumbing has a leak you have four choices, ignore the problem, fix it yourself, hire a plumber or whine to the landlord.

It took several months but I got these pricks busted and only by breaking ebay's rules and contacting other bidders I prevented several thousand dollars from making it into the scammer's hands .
There are too many details to type out here but ebay did nothing until I got the police and USPS all riled up, Spending a couple bucks for a USPS money order is well worth it when it comes to mail fraud let the felonies roll!

I noticed that ebay has removed any negative feedback received as a seller and rot$ is no longer a registered user.

They will probly refund the buyer no matter what ....... I know quite a few sellers that opened returned boxes with bricks and other junk in place of the stolen goods and ebay would not help once the package had been returned.

The ebay Q&A chat board was the only real helpful place to go in ebay and last year they closed down all the user chat boards leaving us with the dreaded threaded boards.
I saw hundred of shillers and scammers exposed by the volunteer member that hung around the Q&A 24/7 which is almost impossible to do now since you have no access to bidder IDs and feedback anymore.
I rooted through my feedback and found the ID

Confirmation signature is al lthe ebay requires to satisfy their needs, yea it crossed my mind a substitute could be returned but bricks is a new one.

Used to be a saying " Buyer Beware" now the shoe is on the seller to Beware of Buyer.

Not heard back from my second buyer complaint after i told him to hang in there an ebay representative would be along shortly to refund his money. Maybe the guy is a new player giving it his first shot at the game and i embarrassed him.

Anyhow from my point of view the problem is solved,, at my age my worse concern should be if my pension check is on time, not worrying about some half wit trying to get the best of me with ebay's assistance. Once burned twice shy.

I agree about the pension deal, but my saying is; "screw me once, shame on you. Screw my twice, shame on me, (for being a dumba$$).

Over a period of 14 years on ebay I've had a total of 6 cases filed against me, in this past week three, yes another one rolled in this afternoon.

Bit surprised Paypal did not go after my bank or credit card but rather put my PP account into the red, in my mind this posses a few questions, 1. Am I now banned from buying, 2. Will PP pay the buyer if no funds are available or act as a loans institution on my behalf.

I'm guessing that the three different items went to different locations but can't help but wonder if somehow there is a common denominator and someone is scamming you. Just seems odd that all of a sudden these folks are coming out of the woodwork. I hope this bad run comes to a halt for you soon Gus.

Yea there is something wrong with that picture, fortunately I only had three auctions that sold then I cancelled my metal detector.

    All individual buyers.

Personaly I would call ebay and say exactly that. Why is it I have sold just fine for so many years than all of the sudden 3 cases in less than 2 weeks.

I agree with PTS. I have been on fleecebay since 02, with only one issue, which was resolved. I do thank you, Gus, for sharing all this! It has made me more cautions about how much I put up at one time. Have a few big ticket items I was going to post this week, and decided not to risk it, as a result of what has happened to you. Would clean my clock right now to have a bunch tied up in limbo.

Pray it all works out. BroJer

Your probably OK selling within the U.S.A. where the laws will protect your interests, Item sent from Canada involves international treaties two separate law enforcements and such gets complicated most police officers don't know the laws they're hired to enforce.

It took the US government to do what the Canadian government could not do, arrest a major drug criminal. In fact the dude was the main king pin of the United Gang which started up in BC then became large with International contacts. The dude is sitting in a US prison not Canada, not that this bothers me. It;s just a point I'm making.

The United leader resided in B.C. he was not difficult to find, had a Penthouse and chauffeured around in an Armoured vehicle, when the dude went to attend a wedding in Mexico the DEA rerouted the plane back to Texas where the arrest was made, why couldn’t our law enforcement enforce the law. We;'re talking major drugs, gang slayings all connected to this dude.

Anyhow I'm just rambling on, it will work out. I've wrote it off along with ebay.

Wrapping parcels, digging the snow from my driveway so that I can get those packages to the post office 10 miles away - no thank you.

I always sell only to US residents for exactly that reason!

A buddy of mine recently sold on ebay to an individual and was sent a check from an institution(college) for $700 more than what he listed the item for before he even shipped the item out......He was told sorry cash the check keep $100 for the problem and send the rest cash in an envelope to this address........I took one look at the check and could tell it was fake, no security markings. The guy was using an ip phone, lived in a different state than his ebay account, the check was from an institution in a different state, it was a mess......

After doing a bit of research found that Paypal will always find in favour of the buyer.

Paypal was on the verge of loosing their ability to accept credit cards because of all the charge backs they were receiving. To scae their ass found it best to refund or reverse the transaction this avoiding another charge back which would damage their reputation with the credit card company's. Seventy percent of Paypals revenue comes from ebay along with the money they grab and hold from you while disputes play themselves out.

Paypal could give a **** if your got your goods back or not.

If a deal looks to be true it usually is. Its best to limit your risk / exposure by buying and selling things in small amounts. Ebay does not side with buyers or sellers, it sides with the dollars that keep coming in.
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE
