Old Beer cans from property clean ups

I'd be very interested in working with anybody that happens to find old beer cans during their property clean ups. Even interested in rusty but solid beer cans. I'm looking for pre-1960 type that needed a can opener/church key to open.

    or cone top type cans

i remember this week in 2002 like it was yesterday.....i saved the auction html and still had it stored on my portable hard drive

    eBay item 735873337 (Ended Nov-20-02 21:00:14 PST)

*1941* "CLIPPER PALE" BEER CAN - Rare !

Bidding is closed for this item.

    # of bids - 73

    Item price - US $19,299.99

Shipping and handling - US $5.00

Take at look at this colorful can in great condition!

This is a steel flat-top beer can with a stamp on the top dated 6 - 10 - 41. It has always been indoors, accidentally stored in the rafters of my old building, where I have found many treasures.
The can is top opened with rust only on the top and rims, as you can see in the pictures. The graphics are in great shape and are very colorful. It is a 12 oz. can and the beer (empty) was manufactured at Grace Bros. Brewing Co. in Santa Rosa, California. It states "Internal Revenue Tax Paid," "Cool before serviing, " Keglined," "Pats. 1625229 - 2064537 others pending," and "trade mark AM. Can Co." It reads "Ahead in Quality" above the Clipper graphics.
This can will really stand out in your collection.
Buyer pays $5.00 shipping with optional insurance unless sent UPS, which shipping must be priced for the winning bidder depending upon location

    Was that your can?
I worked with someone in the 80's that bought an old house for 80k and wanted a tree removed. The tree guy came to give him a quote. He took a branch to show someone. The quote came back as the tree man offered the new house owner 80k for the tree.

everyone wished that auction was theirs while it was live.
word spread like crazy on the boards and forums at ebay and if i remember right it made a few local news reports.

i kept a special eye on it because of the full house cleanouts i was doing at the time and from past discoveries i made under attic floorboards
