Lots of doctors quitting. My latest source of cleanouts.

While it is unfortunate, I am seeing a lot of doctors quitting. Might be a good resource for the rest of you to look into. The cleanout I did today, Labor Day was a doc who bailed. (See my post:"I love double dipping.")

He is my fourth one this summer. Sucks, but it is the world in which we are living.

Well, my post has been edited and made inoffensive by the powers that be. Apparently they don't want us getting real political on here, which I guess I understand.

So, being a newbie, I have a question BurlyGuys. I have read in several posts about people doing "clean outs" and was wondering exactly what that was.

    Thanks!

A Cleanout is when a company or an individual has a property containing stuff they want removed, either partially or completely. Thanks for asking.

As the plumber left the Dr's house, and handed him the bill, the Dr remarked, "I don't make that kind of money, and I'm a Dr !" The plumber kindly replied, " yes, I know, neither did I, when I was a Dr." ; )

I have actualy been able to do this, it is fun to see the confused look on thier faces. Doctors, lawyers & executives I love to knock them off thier status ladders..

A lot of doctors get sick of fighting with private insurance companies as well. They also pay a lot in malpractice and for some it may not end up being worth it.

Family doctors are having a hard time, plenty have quit their own private practice and work for others now (at a salary). Most specialists seem to be doing ok for now.

As far as cleanouts in general go, plenty of old companies around here have closed in the last few years and you should see some of the relics they had in their store rooms.

In NZ it costs US$40 for a Doc visit & US$2.50 per scrip item for 3 months if you earn under $25,000.
Most of our Docs are older & 1/2 are from India. They earn good $ & theres no such thing as 'medical insurance' & suing people.

It's harder to sue doctors in this country than you would think.
