    Clothing Bins Stolen

Found out tonight when I got to work that 19 clothing bins were stolen over a 12 hour period from the Jamaica Queens NY area on Friday night. This is more geared to the guys and gals in the NY,NJ,Conn area. Let your yards know to keep an eye out for them. These are the bins where you can drop off clothing that go to the homeless, needy kids and veterans. If any one sees or hears of any of these being turned in or attempted to be turned in for scrap metal please send me a pm asap.

brass, more than likely these will be repainted and set back out again looking like something for a charitable org.
there are so many of these things stolen and then repurposed for a for profit org (stealing) that i take alll of my stuff to goodwill, and never to a drop box.
hopefully you can locate your boxes, try putting some type of identifyer on them, maybe spray brake fluid on the back with your company logo, will rust and look like poo but they cant repaint over them.

Not my boxes, just trying to locate and give some of the yard owners a heads up in case someone tries to scrap them.

lol....i shouldn't laugh but its crazy how many of these companys set up bins here and the town ships go around and remove them. i worked for a land scraper once and we removed 4 bins a week from the same two malls. they never ask they just put the things where ever they thing its a high vis spot. ten bucks for a used shirt.....give me a brake. i wonder how much if the profit goes to the charities. more expenses less charity...its sad

That would require quite the big operation to steal all of those bins in that amount of time.

Probably a company like this that tries to come off as a non-profit, but really are just getting free inventory and making a killing:
