    Did I ruin this cpu

All I had was a propane torch to heat the cpu and remove it from the motherboard....(me and my dad were playing around) Wandering if I should waste my time or I ruin any value of this cpu

You removed the balls. That chip is a BGA (Ball Grid Array) and the balls underneath are what connect to the board when they get soldered. The internals of the chip are intact.
