I can get a 100 satellite tv boxes from direct tv for a 1.00 a piece. I could have swore they were high grade boards..like 2.00 something a lb. Pass or take??? And this would probaly be a monthly deal...

I would take that deal. If im not mistakin they are motherboard grade or maybe low telecom. Either way I think at $1 a piece you cant go wrong specialy if you get the cords with them.

Keep shipping in mind. I pay $1 per for sat boxes. You may need to break off the RF boxes to make them motherboard grade. They snap off fairly easily.

My buyer just paid me for "mid grade high" at $ 2.75 lb.

I would go for it... value depends on the quality of those boards, as they can vary quite a bit with these types of items.

How were you able to work this deal? I'd be interested in trying to get in on this!

Anyone know if there is any resale value in the units... especially the tivo/dvr hard drive type units as a whole? Got a pretty good pile of them and wanted to check before I tore them apart. I hate breaking something up that seems like is fairly new and possibly be useable. Guess at least I would have a medium/high board, hard drive, wire, and the little square o' gold on the card.
