If I'm seeing right that would be a peripheral board at around $ 2.45 lb. We'll see what some of the buyers say, I could be wrong.

Sorry my pics wont upload. This boards are green with a bunch of chips etc.. But have a big chuck of epoxy covering some of the chips at the one end. They are from old recievers that controlled the big outside dishs in the 80's and early 90's.
    Any imput is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Ya - this would be good info to know. Paid $30 for 4 computers that were missing some parts and cover to case just to get my foot in a door with a thirft store to buy broken computers from them. Guy asked about the sat dish boxes / cable boxes - if I would pay $5 for them. I said no as most of those are low grade boards worth $.08 or so a pound and no buyers around here. If most of them are mid-grade or better boards, have some copper, and metal cover I may offer $1 each. Not like they are selling them. They may just be putting them in their scrap pile....who kows.

Its been6+ months since this post, does anyone have any current idea on value of satellite receiver boards? I have a lead on about 200 receivers but not sure if worth the cost. What do you pay for a receiver? Or what do you pay for a board? Thanks!

What I did, was removed as much metal off the boards, and tossed it into my medium grade box... and got 2.45per pound.

    thats my three cents.

I was hoping it would be a high-grade board. Seller wants .20 a pound for them whole. Figured i can get rid of the metal for .10, then see if i can profit on the remaining.

I thought the units I bought were standard satellite receivers such as dish network, but many are Motorola CATV converters. I was in such a rush that we were just throwing them on the pile without looking. Some of the Dish Network types also had cards in them with the gold squares. I'll have to see where this goes as he has a couple hundred more to sell to me...

more satellite receiver boards. Are they stripped down well enough, or will the steel brackets downgrade them? Or are they nothing but low grade anyway? Brand new at this and trying to learn the ropes a bit. THANKS in advance

    my estimate
    1st pic midgrade
2nd pic the clean boards looks to have a layer of gold in them or copper hard to tell, i say green motherboard grade or higher on those the one with the big metal box as is would be low grade, remove the metal and it would go midgrade

Well thats just what my board buyer pays. Your mileage may vary. Some cable box boards and video game system boards will go as green motherboard grade which is not bad if you are buying them properly.
