There are alot of upsides to a smart phone

Txting is great because you can reply when you can and read it when you can. So when you are doing something you don't need to stop like if it was a phone call and...you don't need to turn down the radio or go some where so you can talk on the phone.
Works better with online items. I was about to buy my Crossbow from a hunting store and decided to use the scan-app. Found it on another website for $100 less plus free 3-5 day shipping. Technology can be a hinderance if all your looking for is more things to fiddle with but some tech is well worth the investment of time to learn it.

Same thing here...took the toddler to the childrens museum one afternoon, and outside the gift shop they have these bouncing creatures that kids can sit on and hop around, kind of like the 'ol hop ball us 70's and 80's kids played with. Anyway, on a whim, i go check out the price....Childrens Museum price was $40....scanned the barcode, and what do you know, Toy's R Us just happened to have them on clearance online for $9.99. Ordered one that very minute, we continued our museum trip, and Conrad's "prize" showed up on the doorstep four days later.

My wife has had an iPhone for almost four years....I just got my first one, and my first smart phone ever, in October. It is such an awesome tool, it has literally put my "office" in my pocket.

Nothing to do with the original topic, but the barcode scan reminded me of this.

Last year I was prepping my taxes, going through receipts. Came across one that had several items that I didn't recognize. On a hunch I Googled the SKU and bam there it was. Oh yeah...I remember buying that.

I can understand your reasoning for this. However, just because you tell them a price, doesn't mean that they will flood CS with tons of product to the point where he wont be purchasing no more from you.

Mike your getting me excited, lol. I'm getting my first load ready to take to CP. I'm glad I have been slow on getting my load ready, his prices have went up. CP has been very helpful thru PM. Even though he would pick up, since I'm in Indiana I want to see his shop

alright, I'm convinced. Checked out the website, price list looked good. I'm going to seperate my stuff, and pack up a couple of boxes and see for myself how this goes, but from what I have read, I believe you just got a new customer. If there are any stipulations, or packaging details I need to be aware of, please let me know.

depending on how much I have to ship to out weigh the shipping cost, we're just gonna go with a small box of things, if all goes well, you will get the rest of my scrap and all of the escrap in the future. I have learned quite a bit on here, and had heard of escrap, but never knew what direction to go with it, this site showed me where and how to go about it, and I would like to use a buyer from this forum as a way to give back. I'm a loyal customer, and stick with what I like and know, as long as I feel I'm being "done right".

I am glad to have this forum to find out not just what to recycle but where to sell it.

Years ago I was commerical fishing. It was said you can catch all the fish in the ocean but if you don't have a market you can't make any money.

Our buyers are important to us and this forum as we are becoming to them. Mike.

looks like I'll be flat rate shipping this one, but I have to go run to the post office to get a large flat rate box. also, just curious, why are trimmed finger boards going for less a pound than whole finger boards? I would think you would get more gold out of a pound of trimmed than a pound of whole.

They sell for less because the fingers make up a good percentage of the gold and the easiest gold to remove.
