is there a top purchase price for non-working cell phones? i'm following an auction with over 500 phones. what would you all pay?

Take a look at some buyer price lists on the forum and through the Internet.

Cell phones without batteries sell for anywhere from $4.50-$6 per pound depending on the buyer and the current market price for gold and other PM's.

There is also the possibility of selling them as breaking up the lot and selling them as non-working for parts if they are the right kind and up to date phones.

Scrap Lap, I am in a similar situation with a good # of cell phones including blackberries and trying to determine a reasonable bid price.

I heard there's a place in Atlanta buying lithium Ions at 15.00 a pound or am i just getting smoke blow up my ass at the yard. something about the silver. anyone care to comment?
