This uses Fipronil as the active poison ingredient. Pretty much anything with Fipronil will work pretty well to kill roaches. MaxForce gel also contains Fipronil and I've used it with pretty amazing results in the past to control greenhouse roach pests. Take a piece of thin PVC pipe, an inch or so wide, cut it in 8-12 inch lengths and squeeze the poison as far into the tube as you can. This reduces/eliminates the risk of accidental contact with people, pets or objects and the roachs like it since it is free food in a nice comfy enclosed space. We went from having an infestation to no detectable roaches in just a few weeks. It also came close to eradicating our large cricket population in the greenhouse as well.
