I don't get many & wonder what the amount of gold in each is, I can't sell them, so once I have enough I'll recover the gold.
It will obviously be different for each one, but I went and weighed one of each of the types I get on a regular basis (AMD ceramic chips, Pentium 3s, Black Fiber chips, etc) and found they were worth $.50-$2.00 each on average depending on the brand. Some like the Pentium Pro chips which I see much less frequently were worth as much as $18 each or so, and pentium 4s were worth less. I don't have the list with me right now, but when I'm calculating a rough value I estimate about $1-$1.25 each unless you start getting lots of the old ceramic 386s or pentium pros. Hope that helps.

Does anyone know where this type of chip would fall on the above price list? It's an AMD opteron chip. I have several hundred of them I need to scrap (they are working but doesn't seem like ebay would be worth the time for the minimal value each)? Thanks!
