This is a good thread. Been thinking and reading/researching about doing the same thing. But not as refined, but you never know. Build a refractory, ball mill the pins, fingers and chips and then then cook up the whole mess and pour an ingot. Seems to me that you would keep more PMs that way. I believe they call it a copper bearing gold bar. Smelting seems pretty intriguing...nice site Samuel. Found this on craigs, thanks olddude.
