Socket 775 CPU more than gold recovery

    Guys/Gals
If you are running across the socket 775 cpu (that would be the pinless smaller/newer cpus)...
we are buying these for repair! In otherwords we can pay a premium for these, however this is only for a limited time as that market will die out... cant tell you when and if I could i'd be rich! Anyway I suspect through the remainder of the year the market will be here although pricing will taper off slowly through year end...

So any socket 775 Intel Pinless CPUs Pentium 4 or greater is of interest... doesn't need to be working as we are not buying it in working condition, just as is. Must be in good physical condition not shredded or bent, cracked, etc.

    This include
    Pentium D
    Dual Core
    Core 2 Duo
    Xeon

MUST BE socket 775 and INTEL

Figured I'd throw that out there if you weren't aware, thanks!

$15.00 a pound is not really a market jump if you ask me.

But what I do see is this..There going to be a price war with both you and me =P lets see who wins.

Really, these pinless units should easily bring 5.00/unit or more for untested as-is. That is roughly 100.00/lb

Ok let me try this again... I am paying that for untested or even tested units that are bad/non working... i dont care if they work and in all honesty we want to buy tested BROKEN/BAD units...

In other words i am paying that for BROKEN and DEAD units that arent shredded or bent... we'd like to repair them...

Ok let me get this straight. Are you buying them at $15 per pound or $15 for each one?

At $15 per pound that pretty close to what they are worth for scrap (not for repair or anything) they sell for the same price as the pined cpu (the 478socket)

If your paying $15 for each one I will be sending you easy 50+ pounds by tomorrow. =)

Im glad you brought that up easy... I realized on my excel spreadsheet i had incorrectly entered in the information... and given you guys the wrong info... after a few cups of coffee I can now make some sense here

You are looking at approximately 23 pieces per pound for socket 775 Pinless CPU so in all actuality my pricing is as follows:
Intel P4 and better Socket 775 pinless CPU: $2/piece or $46.00 per lb
Again... damaged capacitors, non working CPUs specifically purchased for repair.

    Ewasted,

That is a pretty nice price for known non working units. Any 775 unit we pull out we save and if they are not damaged we can get 5.00/unit untested. We can also go another route that allows us to really maximize profits, in which they are tested and we are paid on a tested basis. We just sold 500 recently and let me tell you, that was a nice pay day. I know you mentioned the market going away on these, for us it is already hard moving the celerons. It is just like memory, we used to pay 1.00/stick on a 256mb stick, and this is when memory was only worth 10/lb, now our 256mb meet the scrap pile. This is a fast paced business we are in, and it is easy to get burned.
