    Lithium Button Batteries

    Anybody know of a buyer of lithium button batteries in the New England area?How about lap top and cell phone batteries?Cordless power tool batteries?

    Some of those "dead" cordless power tool batteries can be shocked back into life and sold. There is a link on here somewhere with that story, and if you google it you can get a lot of hits. Restore the battery and sell it for much more than scrap.

    It helps if you looked at the buying and selling part of this forum as you would of found some posts.

    I know this thread is aged, but I found a company in Norfolk, MA that buys Li-Ion batteries ( i don't think button cells though ). Let them know Justin sent you and maybe they will give me a t-shirt next time I go there.

    Are the batteries from motherboards button cell too?

    Thats what I call button cell. I dont know anyone who buys them, so I just leave them on the motherboards when I recycle the boards. It adds to the weight of the motherboards at 3.50-4.40/lb vs. the batteries being worth .60-1.15/lb. Almost worth popping the button cells into motherboards that dont have one .
