    Also after the scrap metal prices went sky high and then fell buyers changed how they wanted things, I made a lot of money with #2 insulated wire could have ends on with no problem phone cords and ribbon wire mixed in as well. Now different story need to have ends removed for better price. Electric motors were not looked over so thorough could be mixed of Cu and Alu windings now some places pay less for aluminum wound ones. Only thing I know is scrap yards or refiners all need metal to survive! Lets hope prices go up so they can give us little guys a few more crumbs!
