    Do These Seem Right?

Morning everyone, this is aimed mostly to those like myself who ecrap. I came across a website called scrapindex.com and was curious if these prices seem right. If they look fudged, this will be another site I add to my 'do not use' pile. Looks like prices listed are more worth then what's being paid.

I could see wholesale prices being $130 /ton out of China, India or South Africa. Buyer will probably have to pay shipping ( roughly $600 to import - not counting trucking )

Edit: wholesale low grade motherboards apparently are going for about $280 /ton from China, and whole computers are going for the equivalent of about $118 /ton out of India according to some wholesale scrap sites I looked at.

are those figures higher or lower then what everyone's been guessing or looking at - don't want to give false hopes.

I think these prices are correct $130 a ton is $.065 a pound so a truckload 40,000 lbs. would only cost $2600 and then lots of breakdown and time to make more money... how many pounds in an average computer 15 - 20? So that would be $1 to $1.30 each

so prices are about right then, and as i said it's more market worth then what everyone's buying and selling at. Tried to find pages on that site for other metals everyone trades with but couldn't.

Not sure what to say, maybe no one has a ton of units floating around. I was more interested in the component prices as that's my niche anyway.
