    Bitcoin Mining Server Board

Here is a picture of a custom made Bitcoin Mining server board. We have a large project coming up to dismantle about 1500 of these servers. There are two of these boards and twenty-four processors in each server. They also have 24 clean aluminium heatsinks for almost 7 lbs per server.

Ahhhhh.... Any hard drives included in the batch? I wouldn't steal, but if there are any abandoned BTC's, I would be fine with claiming them.

No hard drives, but there will be well over 30,000 basic processors!

Any resale value on those processors? Looks like a no name copy of an Intel CPU?

We can't find any information or specs on them. I believe they are custom made for just for the process of bitcoin mining. They do not have any capacitors on the bottom side, so I'm really not sure about them.

Actually it isn't. The ISSUE is that the more bitcoins that were mined, the HARDER the next one will be...so those at 1st were EASY...now there are a TON in circulations (I also believe there was a limit to the total number that would be in existence....but don't quote on that). When the bitcoins were trading HIGH, it was worth mining, now that they have stabilized, it takes a F TON of electricity to run these HUGE rigs, basically, costs too much to do it on a large scale right now. You also had to have some specialized chipsets to do it efficiently (ASIC chips)....and alot of the ones being developed for mining, never lived up to the hype or got to market.

I don't know a ton on the subject, but that is what I do know.

And just like everything else in the IT industry, the hardware becomes basically obsolete so fast and then it's so expensive to upgrade literally thousands of servers. The margins get too thin.
