A Few Cool and Unusual Boards

Here are a couple unusual boards I have gotten my hands on recently. I figured that sharing this info can let people judge if looking out for these are worth their time.

So the first two pictures show the guts of a high end Dew Point sensor that broke. The sensor was about 12 years old. It has some incredibly thick chips on it, some tantalum capacitors, some of the monolithic capacitors. Another interesting thing is that the jumpers that go across some of the gold plated pins are also gold plated inside. The two smaller boards were attached to the larger board. As you ca see one board is completely empty on the back.

This board is probably a lot more common, but it looks cool! It came out of a fairly expensive thermostat and the contact surfaces have some pretty hefty gold plating. There are no real components on it though.

Hope someone out there finds this interesting!
