    Best Haul Ever. Advertising works...

I am exhausted. I just unloaded with the help of Jr. and the wife who normally don't help unload an entire 8' truck bed of towers, cards, mother boards, and wire. 50+ towers some old, servers, and some much wire I unloaded it into a pile with a wheel barrow!

The call came and the guy said he was cleaning out a bank owned house. It was an hour away but he said he had a good amount. When I got there it was an out building computer shop. We started stacking towers in the bed and it didn't stop. Then he grabbed a box full of finger cards and said "do you take these?" Box after box, bag after bag of wire. You know you make a good haul when the wife looks at the pile of stuff and says wow. She sees the boxes I send to eWasted and was wondering after it is all processed how many of them boxes will be going out. It will be many!

Funny how God works to get us through the tough times. I woke up this morning to go help my buddy with his pool business. I have been helping him for a while now. He wrote me a big thank you check today, blew me away then let me take his F350 four door diesel on the hour long trip each way. I picked up the biggest load I have ever got today, with a pocket full of cash, after waking up nearly broke.

Life is good, ain't it great to be a scrapper!!!

I know exactly what you mean. Some days good karma just takes over and can lead you through several steps to get somewhere you really wanted to be, yet, you had no idea you were headed there. Sounds like a good haul! Congrats!

Well dang my "competition" has struck. I followed your link and it took me to the Pittsburgh Craigslist and I was like why does it keep taking me to the craigslists I am on? Then I realized we are located in the same city haha. That is sweet man I wish I got that call! I just do the scrapping for fun but my truck is currently out of commission and I work to many hours to do anything real with scraping. Good luck breaking it all down and hopefully you get more dude, rock on!

and ps someone posted a small aluminum camper trailer in the free section about 30min ago!!!

There is more stuff I may not be able to get. I will always help a fellow scrapper. I make good money doing this but it is more of a hobby.

OK End of the first day of breakdown.

35 Lbs. of Motherboards mostly old large socket.

16 Lbs. of Finger Cards MOSTLY IN BOXES ready to scrap.

    10 oz. RAM Gold

    6 oz Slot Processor

    10 Lbs. Alum Heatsink

    119 Lbs. Power Wheels Batteries

    200 Lbs. Wire

    10 Lbs. Gold Plug Ends

and a ziplock full of processors, Pentium Gold on up to P4!!!

I also have a pile of Hard Drives, DVD, 3.5" Drives, and Power Supplies that is so big I don't want to move it. I will be taking the boards off all them. maybe not til winter.

The pile is 1/3 Smaller and I am saving the two servers for last I never took one apart. I may do a video or something don't know. Scrap yard in the morning.

AND I WILL SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST. I went to the yard to get rid of some shred, wire and batteries and the scale guy said they lost their buyer for boards! WOO HOO. He is passing my card to the buyer at the yard on Monday. Best half dozen doughnuts I ever bought. $25.00 business cards are an absolute MUST. I would love to go grab gaylords of boards from them.

Just a friendly fyi, you should put all those towers on pallets and tarp them till you get to breakdown. Or rent a storage unit. The epa or dep sees it, well lets says ya butt is grass and they are the mower. Trust me, been there. Done that, got the swift kick in the rear..LMAO!! They see it as leaching into the water table, which is understandable. Otherwise good job man, keep it up. My girl found this on craigslist tonight, lots of resale. Karma is being good to us scrappers, or maybe its just spring clean up.

I took the first load of shred to the big yard here the other yesterday. I take the guys doughnuts some time and give out my cards. One of the guys passed on my number to another smaller yard owner. He was there bringing in cars.

Cha Ching in the morning I will be going to pick up SIX (6) PALLETS of shrink wrapped computers.

I already made a deal on price. What would you guys pay per lb. ??? Now i looked them over and they look some what complete. They are pulled from shred. This is kind of my business model come true from my dream. Where I buy from the yards. The guy I am buying from is known to me through friends. He is a good guy and is stand up. He wont shrink wrap junk and give me BS.

Wow, you got it good. Just make sure you are also looking at the buyers here. You are not far from a very good buyer, it might be worth your trip to drive to Ohio for a good pay-out. Great pic's. Free advertising and a little talking can work for all, you just never know who your talking to.
