Any computer waste locations I can rummage through in Oregon?

I live in Oregon and I would like to scavenge for some electronic components. Does anyone know somewhere where I can do this? I would prefer a free rummaging area, but anything would be nice. Please let me know if you know of someplace where I can do this.

Hmmm, not to be a dillrod but if I had some good places to pick, I wouldn't be telling a soul. Everyone's your competition.

Agree with Mechanic688. No one is going to give up their honey hole. Noodlebear has no introduction, just 1 post, basically a "I'm coming in only for you to do my research and work for me". Not good.

Your extensive research should have showed you that people on this forum work their butts off to make contacts and get clients. You ask everyone you meet, tell them what you do and maybe you get lucky. Pound the pavement, introduce yourself to businesses. There is no magic pile of computers in the woods that you can just pick through. Just get out and talk to people and good luck.

What kind of electronic components are you looking for?
Look at this link and check the prices he is paying for electronic components.

If there was a place I could rummage through free I would take it all and sell it. That is why you have turned up with nothing.
Answer the question above and we may be able to help.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

    No nonmagical piles either

There may be some CRTs somewhere, but I'd probably skip them.

The best way to get free stuff is to just ask- look into doing a collection event.

matador: "A man left his door unlocked and a CRT in his car, hoping someone would take it. He came back later, and there were two CRTs."

No wonder all I find when I go searching is poison ivy.

Actually there are some piles of computers and electronics in the Oregon forests and sage brush. You just need to know where the crazy folks go to take them to the middle of nowhere and shoot them full of holes. But you can also find lead bullets in them as bonus scrap.
