People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I know of several cat buyers here in floorida but the state law is rather stricked about selling cats. Are you looking for some one close to you or you willing to ship to another state? I found one in Tn once on line. I think I typed in - scrap yards/tn- in the google search box. Remember google is your friend.

after reading happyscraper's comment i need to retract my previous post...due to recent laws passed in my state you are only able to sale 1 or 2 catalytic converters per day in my state....the buyer must photo copy your id and take a photo of you also...i doubt you could sale them by mail here..and there is no way you could save up quanity and deliver them because of the daily limit....

Sell as many as you want on eBay
Or ship them to a Business in another state without the restrictions

I can't speak for any other state, but the restrictions on selling converters here in PA mostly apply to individuals selling them. If you operate any kind of business that could reasonably be expected to generate scrap cats, it's a whole lot easier to sell them here, in any quantity. Salvage yards, repair shops, car dealers, vehicle fleets and the like can sell them here with minimal hassle, but it's tough for an individual to find a good buyer to take even one converter. Without a verifiable business entity for a commercial account, I turn away anyone looking to sell cats. In most cases, I hate to have to do it. Thieves suck, and they are the reason for these laws that make it hard for an honest individual to recycle a converter that legitimately belongs to him.
