Something to consider for flat screen monitors, is turning them into TVs. You can buy the tuning fixin's, or other things to make this happen. I had looked into this a long time ago when TVs were more expensive. Something to think about! Turn them into back-of-headrest monitors.

They can be used as a replacement screen for a home based laptop. Always handy.
I have seen them used as a secondary entertainment setup using a computer with surround sound.
Security monitoring, better to burn out 4-6 monitors screens from screen burn, than burn squares on a big flatscreen.
Its handy having two screens in a computer.

Ryanw is correct, sometimes they are 12 volt & useable in vehicles & RV's.

NEC UT880 with touch screen and camera

Still trying to get everything cleaned up from last year. I'm hoping to be finished today because I have people calling for pickups. I lost my local buyer for circuit boards but found another fairly close with decent pricing. Hope everyone has a great year.

How much do you actually get paid for the phone boards? To me they don't seem worth it unless your getting 2.00$ a lb

Your post proves that you didn't bother spending any time reading my thread. I have provided in great detail information about the scrap I receive.

    First pickup for 2020

I actually picked this up 3 weeks ago but just haven't had time to even look at it until this morning. I have a NEC system with 15 phones and more circuit boards that tested good. I also have boxes of Polycom and Yealink VOIP phones. There are companies out there that will purchase stuff like this and refurbish it, plus I have contacts that will be interested in the things I can test. I did pretty good with the wireless phones last year so I will continue to do the same this year.

Oh, I also have 2 TOA BG-2120 amps brand new in the box.

    Long distance dialer.

Remember back in the 90's when you could choose your long distance provider by dailing 1010XXX and then your LD number? This device was installed on business phone system with multiple lines and inserted the 1010XXX number for you.

I am not far from you. I do not get very large quantities, but could I be provided your yard address. Possibly a buy list. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been shopping around for a new local yard because my old yard closed down.

There is a yard in Portland TN that just started buying e scrap. The name of the yard is Volunteer Recycling & Salvage, INC.

I talked to a guy there a few weeks ago and he was very nice and took the time to go over some of the more common computer boards.

Thank you I will check them out. I don’t get much electronics mainly metal. Lately I have been trying govdeals. I use to do well at drmo auctions but I haven’t seen to many on gov deals in a good price range. Free is pretty much scarce here.

Mike if you want pricing from the Portland, TN yard, you'll have to call and compare for yourself. Some prices were good and some were not. Gold memory was $11 a pound. I ship my gold memory and processors to buyers on the SMF.

Ohio and Wisconsin are not the only places that provide Dapper Dan hair treatment.

Check them out but also look at the buyers here on the SMF. BTW, my metal (shred) goes to Queen City at exit 1 for $50 a ton.

I have went to queen City in the past but Lui heismansohn is where I usually take my metal. This is due to proximity the prices are always comparable to Queen City although I admit I haven’t really compared lately they are small so it’s usually never a wait and do t really give me any hard time. Jones buys ewaste but it was only higher end and the prices were not great I misplaced the email for exact prices but the forum buyers are better for sure. If your down dropping off at exit one you might be one of these people taking auctions to high for me. Past 50 miles from Clarksville is outside of my driving range. I usually take a truck load as I head to town for random trips but my shred pile is getting to be the size of a small junkyard so I might have to load up a whole trailer load for Queen City been trying I hoard/stockpile for another 2017 payday.

Feel free to post them here....its 3 hours from me I probably wouldn't make the trip unless the paid more than forum buyers

Like I said Mike, some prices were good and some weren't. I'm in no hurry to sell and still shopping around.
