    3 Port 10/100 Ethernet Switches

I saved these from going in the dumpster last week and I'm trying to decide what to do with them. I have a big box with about 100 pounds of these in the original wrapper never been opened.

The switches are powered by a USB connection.

I've taken 2 apart and I'm sending pics to buyers but I'm also looking into more than scrap value.........but not ebay. Ebay can kiss my shiny metal a$$!

    Front and back of boards.

Mike, you know I don't like ebay and I've talked about it many times in the past. Ebay is full of scammers and other s**tbags looking to screw someone. I do not have time to deal with people like that. I know many of you use it a lot and do very well but it's not for me.

I have other sources for my better than scrap items and that's the path I choose.

I agree with you Jim. I just pulled all my auctions a week ago because in the last month I have had:
    1. People not being in the US and still using BIN to buy on my auctions but ship to their "relatives" in the US but he is based in Canada. Even though I have ALL my setting through ebay dis-allowing any outside U.S. transactions (Ebay stinks)
    2. A guy from the Ukraine who somehow is listed as being a US buyer, Ebay kills the transaction and offers no idea to what I am supposed to do for him nor am I supposed to contact him or send his $ back. He is suspended and opens another account to be able to send me harassing messages through ebay and my personal email account.
    3. Bought something.. guy cancels order in 10 minutes saying "Oh sorry I don't have that- must have been a duplicate listing or something"
    4. Bought something else- package never arrives or tracks and he says "I swear I sent it" refunds me- then finds the package 3 weeks later under his car front seat, sends it off and says "well it would be nice if you paid me for it!"
    5. Having an item listed at $70 and people offering me $20 AND that I eat the $18+ in priority postage. SMH!

I am taking a break from it- Too busy to deal with all that B.S. right now!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Well, my photobucket pictures aren't in here.....

I knew it was just a matter of time before they got to me and it happened sometime today. Oh well, I'm not upset anymore and I downloaded all of my pics.

At some point I'll find another site to upload my pics to and fix my thread.

I brought home a load of telecom, paging and some other things this week. I haven't had time to look at it all but I've spent about 2 hours trying to attach pics using the Manage Attachments feature here a the SMF. Below is a board from an old NEC 2400 PBX.

This is from the load I picked up on 7/17. The first box I opened had 39 pounds of gold finger boards from an NEC PBX. I still have about 8 more boxes to look through but it's to hot out there right now.

I'm trying to use the Manage Attachment feature on the SMF and I'm still having a little trouble. I noticed it was posting 2 pics also but I don't know why.

If anyone else uses the Manage Attachment here on the SMF and can offer any advice it would be very much appreciated.

Since the thing happened with photobucket, I've been trying other options. I did use IMGUR to post the "2 dogs" pic but if you read their Terms of Service it states that they are not to be used as a 3rd party hosting site. The same as photobucket. So how long will it be before IMGUR starts deleting photos.

not to be used as 3rd party hosting sites
well then-what other use do these sites have?

im assuming that most of the traffic(and maybe revenue) is generated by ppl using them as a 3rd party.

if anyone here doesnt mind, then they can also use their Facebook account for the pics.
if it was me, i wouldnt care if anyone here knows my name etc.

    just saying.

Found another processor to add to my collection. It's about the size of a P4 processor and has gold plated pins.

I've been boxing up some wireless phones today and other boards also. These phones are damaged and when received at the warehouse they have been throwing them in the dumpster. I told the guy in receiving that if he would save the phones I would give him half of what I get. In 2 months I've brought home about 150 pounds.

My garage has been filling up again so I'm getting things sorted and separated. I've got a lot of things to scrap and a lot to sell also. I was given 2 different scales so my wife can have her bathroom scales back.

We use that same scale at my day job in our shipping department. Ours plugs directly into a terminal via USB and feeds the weights directly to the shipping software. We have had it for many years with no problems. Good scale

I got a call today from a friend wanting to know if I wanted about 400 analog hotel room phones. Most hotel phones are cheap with brown boards and I almost passed on the offer but I'm glad I didn't.
It turns out that they are Cetis brand DCT2910 cordless phones and they have some nice boards in them.
