I'm looking at these two items coming up for auction Monday. I'm guessing these measure Body Mass Index (BMI). Any idea what might be inside of value?

Looks like alot of plastic, a crt, copper (small amount) wires, maybe steel and/or aluminum. I don't think I would pay 15.00 for it. My .02

Thanks for the feedback. Was't really sure if some precious metals might be involved in measuring body (bio) mass. Haven't found any specifics in my google searches that would tell me one way or the other. Looks like the technology is just very sensitive amp meter that measures current flow thru the body. Saw those gold colored contacts on the surface and was hoping...
No idea what might be inside but I enjoy the break down and get excited to see what I find. So if you can afford it and don't have anything else better to do it could be at least entertaining. I tend to believe you will not make money even at $15. Mike.

the pads will be stainless
you will have a crt
depending on the manufacture the cabinet will be plastic/wood or plastic/alum
their will also be a small computer inside.
