    Gold CPU?

Was wondering if this is even worth anything. The front has 12v up in the corner and the back looks like a standard CPU with a bunch of numbers on the gold colored square. However this came out of a projection TV I think.... For sure didn't come out of a computer because I don't keep those where my other scrap is.

So does this mean I might actually have something here? Or no because it came out of a TV?

Thanks for the link, I"ll save it for future reference as well to give myself an idea of what I have. It looks identical to the gold DLP chip that ScrapYaHerd said it was. At least I know what it's called now. Thanks for everyone's input and the link as well, very appreciated.

Others have given you the answer to your question all that leaves me is to say, how cool to find a gold cpu? I am glad to see you are learning the ewaste part of the busines. I have found one of those cpu's which was in a modern projector which is a digital projector. The one I broke down a few small high grade boards in it as well as the cpu. Mike.

Well if you would have seen my reaction when I found it, you would've thought I was going insane!! Needless to say it was an experience lmao and considering it was my 1st one I'm going to keep it. I just might take a liking to ewaste!!!!!
