Hard Drive Tester

Have a question with Eraser. I've adjusted the settings to DoD standards, etc., but I'm finding it still doesnt wipe the drive. When i go back i'm still finding tons of things on there. I thought maybe some were "protected" or encrypted, but i was able to open them up no problem (stuff like photos,etc). I've looked back through the Eraser help but must be missing something. Anyone have a suggestion of how I can effectively wipe the drive to the point where i feel comfortable selling it? Hopefully it is an easy fix like a setting i'm missing....

There should be no way of this to happen after 7 successful wipes. I would suspect that either the tester is faulty or the hard drive is some how partitioned and you are only wiping part of the drive.
