Drum Roll Please..... (it may be a dolphin but its a whale to me)

So some of you may recall me writing about my very first buying customer last week wanting to return this weekend to buy more stuff on my thread, "thats what im talking about" ( i dont know how to link the thread, but if someone wants to teach me, it would be greatly appreciated!) When he was here last he mentioned he had spare parts, and if i was interested he's bring them to me. Of course i happily agreed. So ive been stoked since yesterday anxious to see what he was wanting to buy and how much he was going to spend..... boy was i surprised when he rolled up with his van.

    The inside of his van

i was so stoked. he brought in 13 servers, 5 different kinds. i wasnt sure what to expect at first thinking they may already be gutted but at a closer glance, they looked like they hadnt been touched. He aquired them from a person he buys computers from and took them off his hands for free in order to get a discount. He had no use for them. He strictly buys, refurbs, and sells computers. Yay for me! He also brought in 4 older towers he wasnt interested in and a a couple totes of misc stuff what makes for perfect scrap.

See the top of the photo. Those are 7 sleeve servers

a side angle of same server. all 1 gig RAM

    these are the sleeve servers.

    another type of server

i placed a standard peripheral board on top of this one to show the difference in thickness in gold fingers.

So after offloading all of my goodies, he started going through my inventory and grabbed two towers, one lap top, two power supplies and 4 mice. He asked how much.... normal price would be about 50 bucks but theres no way i could have charged him anything after bringing me all that stuff. The stuff he took in scrap value was 30 bucks or so, who knows how much he brought me but i know its much much more. Besides, i was so excited like a kid with in a candy store with a pocket full of quarters. This guy made my day, and i know this is going to turn out to be a great relationship. And get this, he lives one mile away. how convenient for both of us.

ps. im so glad im part of this forum. There arent many people in my day to day life who i could share and brag about this stuff to, well i guess i could, but i highly doubt they'd share in the exicitement with me. So i was anxious to get this post out there. hope you enjoy.
