A bank job! E-scrap and more

I am going to be doing the scrapping for a small chain of banks in my area in July. I will be getting all of the computers, flat-screen monitors, servers, security cameras and system, and a lot of various assorted e-scrap. All of this stuff I am prepared to deal with.
There is one little thing that made me pause. The fellow from the bank asked that I also take the vault door as they are upgrading it!
He did say he had no idea what it weighs, but that it is super heavy. It is even opened with a motor of some sort. He also said it has some electronics inside it.
The thing that gave me pause if that he said it was gas filled and it was probably not a good idea to just cut it up.
Loading it, moving it and hauling it is no problem for me. But, what then? I know from seeing it that the outside of it is stainless.
If anyone else has come across on of these please let me know what you did.
I am looking forward to the challenge.

There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!

I am going to guess (you should VERIFY) the gas is nitrogen. The advantage is that nitrogen does not expand like air, so thermal issues won't effect how well it closes when filled with nitrogen.
    Mine is only a guess.

Don't cut it up! Contact yout local SAVTA member and ask them to bid on it. Chances are they (or someone they know) will pay you more than scrap for it.
I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""

@wayne. I fully intend to go over my options as far as re-purposing the vault door. I am certainly not going to cut into anything without being totally educated about what is in it.

I am going to re-purpose the security camera system also in our shop and our e-waste facility.

We do have a shop here in Waterloo so we try to re-purpose as many electronics as we can.

Why scrap it for? Never one what some idiot millionaire or anyone else will pay for it. Have proper documentation in place to show you are the rightful owner and sell it!
