What did you get this weekend?

One of the funnest threads on another board I belong to (completely different topic) is "Whatcha get this weekend?" How it works is everyone posts pics or lists what they picked up over the previous week(end).

    This weekend I picked up:

4 towers, 2 laptops, 4 cell phones, a DVR, and a big Sony car amp.

The only thing I have pics of is the C64, everything else I already ripped apart before starting this thread.

I am still new to this forum. I am working very hard at this e-waste business. I was able to make a few good scores this week. I ended up counting this weekend with 100+ towers, 7 servers, around 50 monitors, 1 very heavy copier/printer, and probably over 50 asst. electronic pieces of equipment. I think more importantly I have established a relationship with more than a few businesses and schools in my area. Things seem to be going rather well for a start-up. I am making a go at this full time and have one lady working for me. I must admit she is incredible and has a great work ethic. I have not started to tear anything down yet as I am waiting for a rainy day when I can't be out pounding the pavement. I am also studying this forum diligently. I want to take every opportunity to thank all of you who have helped me without even knowing it.

I had a good day when I responded to a craigslist add for 2 free tvs.
I ended up pulling into a hoarders house. I told them what I do, and what I want. Ended up leaving with a full truckload!! AND I'm headin back later this week for another load. Goes to show, Always take the small freebies! Could amount to much more, you never know.

Scored a huge freezer,, It was from a compounding pharmacy. It was scientific freeze standup. Would not fire up. Gutted the acr coils, motor wiring etc. 80 dollars. It had a spin type tempurature stat readout, alarm if temp dropped etc. A kelvenator. 7 feet tall. Wouldn't even fit in the garage. What an eyesore.

Picked it up on Saturday for $50. He said he had someone interested if he would deliver it for $50. (He was asking $75). He didn't have a way to deliver it but he said if I come get it it's mine for $50.

Btw that's a pet peeve of mine, people who di.cker on price and want it delivered.

A tornado ravaged grain bin, a 14x65 trailer house with appliances, a dead refrigerator, some misc., and about 3 weeks worth of construction work.

There is only about 1.5 ton of mangled grain bin tin on the trailer right now. Not worth a trip to the yard. Will process a couple of compact cars to stuff and set on top. there will be about 2 more similar trips out of that place, and it is only 5 miles from home

Responded to a Craigslist ad I won last Friday. A man bought a mobile home complete with everything. The store room was full to the brim with stuff and tools and misc. He gave it all to me for hauling it away. There was at least 30 full crates of stuff like nuts and bolts and brand new stuff like anchors and screws all organized in to bottles and cans. The stuff obviously belonged to an older guy who was the park fix it man. Full socket sets and bottle jacks and floor jacks. 12 old hand saws. The place was full of nice 70's furniture but I could not think of a way to use or dispose of the stuff besides the dump so I left it. Now that I know about this site I will start taking photos of things like this I come across.

19 desktop computers, 8 flat screen monitors, 4 printers, all with their cords. Got all free from a church that called me from an ad I run.
